A Hungarian delegation – led by the Tempus Public Foundation – participated in a series of professional programmes in Shanghai, China from 26th to 30th October. The main goal of the visit was to promote Hungarian higher education, scholarship possibilities and academic cooperation by participating in the China Education Expo (CEE) 2016 fair and taking part in the Chinese-Hungarian Higher Education Forum which was organised by the Foundation in close cooperation with the Consulate General of Hungary in Shanghai.
From the 26 th of October on representatives of Tempus Public Foundation will visit China, Indonesia and Philippines as well to promote Hungarian higher education.
The Studyportals website published its recent survey titled: International Student Satisfaction in Europe 2016. Based on dozens of student feedback, Corvinus received 9+, Excellent ranking out of the maximum 10 points, which means, the average rating was a 9 for the semester spent at Corvinus. In this year’s rankings, Hungary is represented with 6 institutions, however only Corvinus and ELTE received excellent ratings which host 1500 students annually.
More than 2300 Stipendium Hungaricum newcomers started their studies at Hungarian universities in the Autumn semester. The programme attracts more and more foreign students year by year, the number of participants from across Eastern Europe, Latin-America, the Middle-East, Africa and Asia is adding up to 3500 at the moment.
