UNESCO’s intergovernmental committee for the world’s cultural heritage has included Hungarian composer, researcher and music teacher Zoltán Kodály’s method for the preservation of folk music in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, Hungary’s human resources minister told MTI on Friday.
The biggest Italian daily listed Pécs (the town of University of Pécs) in the top 20 of European university towns.
On November 2 in Yogyakarta and during the weekend of November 5-6 in Jakarta, representatives of Hungarian universities, Hungarian Rectors’ Conference and the Tempus Public Foundation met with prospective Indonesian students and scholars in the frame of the EHEF Indonesia 2016.
A Hungarian delegation – led by the Tempus Public Foundation – participated in a series of professional programmes in Shanghai, China from 26th to 30th October. The main goal of the visit was to promote Hungarian higher education, scholarship possibilities and academic cooperation by participating in the China Education Expo (CEE) 2016 fair and taking part in the Chinese-Hungarian Higher Education Forum which was organised by the Foundation in close cooperation with the Consulate General of Hungary in Shanghai.
From the 26 th of October on representatives of Tempus Public Foundation will visit China, Indonesia and Philippines as well to promote Hungarian higher education.
