Széchenyi István University has joined Huawei Technologies global university cooperation programme. The SEEDs scholarship programme, worth tens of millions of forints, aims to support talent development, and student research on the industrial applications of 5G, and can also be used for student projects that include the development of test applications.
A new, English-language elective course named Sustainability in Healthcare has been launched by the Health Services Management Training Centre (EMK) of Semmelweis University. The course is unique not only at university level, but also nationally since there has been no such among medical school courses.

5 years, 30 summer schools, 850 participants from 70 countries - the "Pécs Summer School" programme of the International Centre at the University of Pécs recently won the Marketing Diamond Award at the 2021 Marketing Diamond Awards competition, which was organized by the Hungarian Marketing Association.
