Indeed, my stay here in Hungary exposed me to the fact that everybody can live peacefully not minding the religious, cultural and social background. Society can be a better if we choose to make it a better.

When you have time, think back on your entire study abroad experience. The people you met, the places you traveled, the things you did… don’t be afraid to reminisce. Appreciate the fact that you did something very few students get to do, and treasure that experience and the new qualities you possess because of it.

Paula Louw’s story about Szentendre

„As soon as you get off the train, leave the station and start wandering through the cobblestoned streets you can feel Szentendre’s laid-back atmosphere. The streets in the town are filled with brightly coloured buildings, historic churches, sculptures, cafés and interesting shops. One of the most iconic and unique sights of the town center are the large, colourful mismatched lamp shades strewn above the streets.”

One of our Campus Buddy volunteers, Paula Louw from South-Africa has written a wonderful review about this mediterranean-like city, Szentendre, which has many things to offer for travallers. This town has its own unique atmosphere as several folks lived here throughout history.
