The call for Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for 2016/2017 study year has come to a successfull end, receiving a record high 13 129 applications from 49 countries and regions. As a result, more than 3000 foreign students are expected to start their full-time study programmes as Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders in September.
The official newspaper of the University of Pannonia, “Egyetemünk”, celebrates its 60 th birthday this year. Undoubtedly, it is a huge milestone in the life of the journal that goes with several surprises for the readers, too. New columns were introduced and older columns came to life again in order to give readers the best we can. I believe that it is also reflected in the appearance of the English pages by which we also would like to reach out to foreign students.
The level of education is very high, the view from Gellért hill is unbeatable, Hungarians are friendly and polite, pity, that they smoke a lot – Hungary through the lense of Khulan and Cristina, Stipendium Hungaricum students from Mongolia and Ecuador.
