Hungarian representatives are travelling soon to Japan to take part in the European Higher Education fair between 19 – 20 May! During the two days of the fair Japanese and foreign participants will have the chance to build networks and develop their relations.
Study in Hungary travelled to India for the EduExpos education fair which event took place in Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai between 3-9 April. The study fair is dedicated to help students discover numerous educational opportunities available around the world.
The main concept of the opening of the biophysical research centre with the total value of 1,5 billion Forints equipment pool was to answer a scientific question from the molecular level to the patient’s bed via animal tests. The name giver of the new centre is György Békésy, the Hungarian biophysicist, who received Nobel-Prize in medicine-physiology in 1961.
Ghazizadeh Hashemi, Minister of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has visited Semmelweis University. The visit was organized by the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary, and the delegation was welcomed by Rector Ágoston Szél. In the framework of the meeting, a mutually agreed Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
Dr. Ágoston Szél, Rector of Semmelweis University and Dr. Pop Marcel, Head of the Directorate of International Relations visited Vietnam with the aim of strengthening existing partnerships and establishing new co-operations. They discussed the possibilities of the Erasmus+ scholarship program among others. In China, Dr. Zoltán Zsolt Nagy, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Dr. Yu Funian, guest lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, joined the delegation. The aim of the visit was to deepen the relationship between the two universities and to continue the negotiations.
