Studying in Hungary from a perspective of a graduate student

Bilawal Hussain came to Hungary from Pakistan to start his master studies and he graduted only a few weeks ago. Before starting a new chapter in his life he shared some of his thoughts and memories reflecting on the past years he spent in Hungary.

"My decision to choose Budapest University of Technology and Economics otherwise called "BME", was solely motivated by the offered course of Transportation Engineering (Systems).I knew very little about Budapest and Hungary at that time. Now after being graduated, I'm at better position to take calculated decision, if given a chance to study in Europe I'd choose Hungary, Budapest and BME again.

Apart from studies the most rewarding experience I gained was travelling around many cities of Europe and observing different cultures that surely brought forth the openness of heart and mind to me.

Furthermore, working as a Student Ambassador to Pakistani students with Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) gave me an opportunity to attend many international events and conferences. I extend my deepest and inner most gratitude to team TPF for sending best wishes and huge thanks to Ms. Emese Zolnai for attending my graduation ceremony.

I encourage all those who are looking for a place to study in Europe to consider Hungarian Higher Education Institutes to receive quality education and enjoy the best of Europe.

All those who are in the middle of their education always remember that, "when the darkness is at darkest, star shines the brightest" and if you are in a dark period of your life and you are shining, you are a star."
