Study in Hungary attended the fair together with nine Hungarian higher education institutions. At the stands representatives met hundreds of students who were interested in the Hungarian higher education and scholarship opportunities at all levels.
In the different cities the visitors received first-hand information from the alumni members too; they could share their experiences and answer to the students’ special questions as well.
During the week, Study in Hungary had the opportunity to organize the first Indo-Hungarian Higher Education Forum and Alumni Meeting in Delhi. The aim of the reception was to deepen the cooperation with the partner organisations, to support inter-institutional partnership-building and to share best practices. The alumni Meeting gave a chance for former students of Hungary from India, the members of the Alumni Hungary Network, to meet and widen their professional network.
It was the organizer’s honour to welcome H. E. Mr. Gyula Pethő, Ambassador of Hungary to India and Dr. Hilda Farkas, Counselor for Science and Technology at the reception.
The delegation visited three universities in Delhi and in Mumbai, where discussions have started between the Indian and Hungarian higher education institutions. Study in Hungary hopes that these initiatives will lead to fruitful cooperations in the future.
