Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship awardees met in Jakarta to get ready together for the greatest adventure of their lives. The event was organized by the Indonesian Student Association in Hungary (PPI Hongaria) and the Embassy of Hungary in Jakarta. In the term of 2018/2019 Hungarian government awarded 50 students from Indonesia in the framework of Stipendium Hungaricum programme. Students are coming from all over the country and it is a great achievement that more and more students are coming to study in Hungary from the island of Java (primarily from the Western and Central parts of the island).
Indonesian students could listen to some presentations about the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship and English programmes offered by Hungarian universities. Student mobility and internationalisation goals of the Hungarian higher education were also presented by the Hungarian delegation. Besides this, members of PPI Hongaria provided some practical information for the students about student life, campus challanges and Indonesian student activities in Hungary.
Study in Hungary is happy to welcome all the newcomers in the country and wish them all the best for their stay and studies!
