The Students at Risk Subprogramme is an addition to the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme and is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and managed by the Tempus Public Foundation. Its goal is to provide assistance to Ukrainian students and doctoral candidates whose studies or research are interrupted because of war, catastrophe, prosecution etc.
For students fleeing the war in Ukraine, the subprogramme provides scholarships for studies in Hungarian higher education institutions. The present application is open for Ukrainian citizens who wish to pursue higher education studies in a Hungarian higher education institution. The opportunity is also open for those who already pursued higher education studies before and those who only have a secondary school graduation certificate (and who will have obtained a secondary school graduation certificate by the time of the enrolment).
Ukrainian citizens are now able to apply for studies starting from the spring semester of the Academic Year 2023/24 (February 2024) within the framework of the Students at Risk Subprogramme. The new Call for Applications can be accessed HERE.
The purpose of the new Call for Applications is to help those Ukrainian citizens who wish to start their academic studies in Hungary in the spring semester of Academic Year 2023/24.
The application system is already open. All applications shall be submitted through the online application system of Tempus Public Foundation. The online application system can be accessed at https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/
The application deadline for the spring semester of Academic Year 2023/24 is 9 October 2023, 2 pm (Central European Time)
