Good Evening ,

Distinguished guests, faculty, proud parents, and above all Tempus Public Foundation Staff, and of course graduates of 2018, Good Evening and congratulations, I am honored to be your speaker today.  My name is Paiman Ahmad, some of you may know me, and I am incredibly and humbly delighted to be standing here as a graduate of 2018 with all of you, today is our amazing day, graduates of 2018 you made it.  Our Tempus Public Foundation, families, professors and friends have been there for us to see us graduating. To each and every body I should say on behalf of everyone who graduates from the graduate round of 2018, thank you for being there when we needed you. Thank you for being on our side and supporting us all, every step of the way during this academic journey. Today please join me to thank on behalf of our governments, of course our families and us “graduates”, first the Hungarian Government and our lovely Tempus Public Foundation, thank you. Our graduation would not have been possible without the generous grant from Tempus Public Foundation. This scholarship receives students from diverse backgrounds and from different parts of the world, and here at the heart of Europe creates a melting pot in this beautiful country. Thank you Hungary and Tempus to make this day in our lives possible, thank you for helping us in achieving the dream which all of us have lived through in the past few years.

Thank you for preparing all those good-will ambassadors for Hungary, your lovely people and our countries. We promise to remember and practice what we have learned in our universities in Hungary and from our professors, we all survived to graduate in a world regardless of serious, so we deserve to celebrate it today. The past few weeks have been the most emotionally difficult moments of my life, and similarly yours, leaving Hungary is an emotional pain, yet graduating is a feeling of profound relief for all of us. I am singularly honoured to be the first PhD graduate not only from my University, National University of Public Service, but also under the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme. Nothing comes without its challenges and so this was filled with the teething troubles but everything was neatly handled by the authorities and officials both at my University as well as by Tempus Public Foundation. As we come to the end of this amazing journey, almost immediately following our farewell party today, let’s promise each other to remain in touch and meet at least once in a while. As you graduate today I urge you to think about life a little more, and of people whom we will serve. Think about what really matters to you and them. Please do not waste your time on this planet let’s do our best to shape the world into a better place for all of us. To you the members of Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme, you are graduates today, thanks once again for allowing me to be the person to conclude this chapter of your lives. Congratulation once again, today is a new spring of Tempus Foundation, 2018 graduates you are the stars of Tempus please shine where you may be, we need more people like you, please make your mark because the world needs you.

Let me thank the organizers of this event and I wish all the success for everyone, and good luck. Thank you.
