The Dreamers of Dreams 20 exhibition commemorates the 20th anniversary of the original Dreamers of Dreams exhibition and the opening of Millenáris Park. Two decades ago, the run-down Ganz factory, which suffered massive wear and tear during the Socialist era, was turned into a new public park and community space as part of a brownfield investment. In the course of one year, 800 thousand visitors came to see the exhibition it housed.
As Millenáris Park project director Máté Szentirmai-Zöld, science historian and lead curator István Gazdai and historian and curator László Csorba told us, the current exhibition is organised around 6+1 content units rather than persons, and naturally features achievements from Hungary’s last two decades.
