Our Alumni volunteer, a PhD student of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science and Environmental Management of the University of Debrecen was elected member of the scientific advisory board of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. The focus of Ayaz Mukarram Shaikh's research is the development of innovative, functional, and sustainable food products.
Oncoradiological patient care has been developed with a government grant of over two billion forints at the University of Debrecen. On Friday, the Oncoradiology Clinic's three new pieces of equipment and one of the world's most advanced radiation planning systems were officially inaugurated. At the event, Péter Takács, secretary of state for health, called the investment exemplary, which makes the clinic one of the leading Hungarian institutes, which is thus capable of a complete and high-quality cover of almost the entire spectrum of treatment.
The exceptionally talented students of the University of Debrecen received a prestigious academic recognition in the CARPE Challenge project idea competition, organised by the Consortium on Applied Research and Professional Education.
