International students at the University of Pannonia
The number of Chinese students at the University of Pannonia has increased in the last semesters. Due to an agreement signed in 2014, the University expects more students from China in the following years. The official journal of the University of Pannonia (Egyetemünk) prepared short interviews with some of the newcomers.

The call for Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for 2016/2017 study year has come to a successfull end, receiving a record high 13 129 applications from 49 countries and regions.  As a result, more than 3000 foreign students are expected to start their full-time study programmes as Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders in September.

Eötvös Loránd University organizes the first ELTE Budapest Summer University, which is a two-week program offered to Hungarian and international students, in various study fields. Language of the summer university is English.

The first ever Russian-Hungarian Higher Education Forum took place in Moscow on the 17th of February. Hungary was hosted also as special guest on the joint International Education Fair (ICIEP 2017) where – with the coordination of Tempus Public Foundation - altogether 12 Hungarian higher education institutions introduced their study choices to local students.
