International students at the University of Pannonia
The number of Chinese students at the University of Pannonia has increased in the last semesters. Due to an agreement signed in 2014, the University expects more students from China in the following years. The official journal of the University of Pannonia (Egyetemünk) prepared short interviews with some of the newcomers.

The call for Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for 2016/2017 study year has come to a successfull end, receiving a record high 13 129 applications from 49 countries and regions.  As a result, more than 3000 foreign students are expected to start their full-time study programmes as Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders in September.

International Alumni Workshop

More opportunities are needed for establishing international cooperations to flourish innovation and research. The first International Alumni Workshop was organised in Budapest between 3-5 October for a not smaller purpose than motivate these actions in the field of healthcare and innovation. The Times Higher Education (THE) makes a listing every year of universities in the world including top institutions and smaller universities. 1258 institutions from 86 countries were included in the ranking this year. THE makes its analysis based on the 5 following factors: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook as core missions and activities of universities and uses 13 indicators to provide balanced comparisons.
