Paula Louw’s story about Szentendre

„As soon as you get off the train, leave the station and start wandering through the cobblestoned streets you can feel Szentendre’s laid-back atmosphere. The streets in the town are filled with brightly coloured buildings, historic churches, sculptures, cafés and interesting shops. One of the most iconic and unique sights of the town center are the large, colourful mismatched lamp shades strewn above the streets.”

One of our Campus Buddy volunteers, Paula Louw from South-Africa has written a wonderful review about this mediterranean-like city, Szentendre, which has many things to offer for travallers. This town has its own unique atmosphere as several folks lived here throughout history.

Farewell party 2018

A forever memory to be held and narrated in the future; these years have been eye-opening and life-changing for many of us, it's fascinating how people from every part of the globe could gather, study, and live together in the same community and actually love each other despite the differences.” says Majd from Jordan, who just obtained her degree from Eszterházy Károly University, Gyöngyös campus.

On the farewell event organized by Tempus Public Foundation for Stipendium Hungaricum students who are about to leave the country, Majd was talking about her experiences gained in Hungary, having hard times in a different culture and making lifelong friendships.
