Study in Hungary in Indonesia

On November 2 in Yogyakarta and during the weekend of November 5-6 in Jakarta, representatives of Hungarian universities, Hungarian Rectors’ Conference and the Tempus Public Foundation met with prospective Indonesian students and scholars in the frame of the EHEF Indonesia 2016. 

Interested applicants had the chance to get informed about scholarship opportunities in Hungary and regarding the wide range of study programmes Hungarian universities are offering.  Moreover, they also have learnt some fun and interesting facts about Hungary, as well as their first words in Hungarian. 

On the 3rd of November numerous representatives of Hungarian and Indonesian universities and experts in the field of higher education - met at the 3rd Indonesian-Hungarian Higher Education Forum in Jakarta. The meeting focused on perspectives of development of the relations between Hungarian and Indonesian higher education institutions. The closing remarks made by Dr. László Szabó, Deputy Minister and Prof. Ainum Na’im, Secretary General welcomed the future cooperation between the participants and stressed the importance of the student and academic mobility. 

The following Hungarian universities  participated at the event:  Budapest Business School, University of Debrecen, Semmelweis University, Szent István University, University of Szeged, University of Miskolc, University of Pannónia, Eötvös Lóránt University, Corvinus University Budapest and also the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference.
