Budapest Metropolitan University(METU) is an integral part of the Hungarian higher educational system since its start in 2001.
With constantly growing number of students, education venues, campuses and a diverse range of programs, today METU is one of the most dynamic private education institutions in Hungary with two faculties: the Faculty of Business, Communication and Tourism and the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries and with a massive student community of 7,000 young people of whom around 1000 are international students from over 100 countries around the World.

It also received the highest rating in the field of internationalization. METU is the first and only Hungarian university to sign a long-term partnership agreement with Arizona State University (ASU), which has been named the most innovative university in the United States for the last ten consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report (2016-2025).
