Corvinus Summer University Welcomes Students from 25 Countries
Corvinus University of Budapest successfully concluded its 2026 Corvinus Summer University, held over two intensive weeks in July. The programme brought together 67 students from 25 countries, offering a combination of academic courses and cultural experiences. Participants attended five specialized courses covering contemporary economic and social issues, while also taking part in activities such as a Danube cruise, rowing sessions, a Makerspace workshop, and community-building events across Budapest. Organized by the university’s Talent Management Centre, the programme gave participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge while building connections with peers from around the world.

Pécs Hosts Nearly 200 International Students from 40 Countries
The University of Pécs launched the 10th edition of its Pécs Summer School with an international cohort of approximately 200 students representing 40 countries and 60 universities worldwide. Participants arrived from across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Australia to explore topics including sustainability, human rights, European studies, and global challenges. The university is hosting nine summer university programmes throughout July, reflecting its commitment to expanding short-term international education opportunities. Supported by 22 student mentors, the programme combines academic learning with cultural experiences, helping participants connect with one another while experiencing life in one of Hungary’s most international university cities.

Ludovika Summer School Explores Minority Rights and Self-Determination
Ludovika University of Public Service hosted the 14th Global Minority Rights Summer School between 5 and 10 July, bringing together students and experts to examine key issues related to self-determination and minority rights. Organized jointly with the Tom Lantos Institute, the Human Rights Consortium of the University of London, and the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO), the programme has developed into a well-established international initiative with participants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds. Throughout the week, Hungarian and international experts worked with participants to examine current challenges in minority protection and discuss how these issues are addressed in different parts of the world.

Youth Work Summer University Draws More Than 100 Professionals to Győr
At Széchenyi István University (SZE), more than 100 youth workers, educators, students, and non-formal education trainers gathered for the Youth Work Summer University, organized in partnership with the Tempus Public Foundation. The four-day programme focused on the values underpinning youth work, increasing the visibility of its social impact, and ensuring the sector’s long-term sustainability.
